In an effort to improve transparency of online advertsing, SPIR defines advertising standards of the most used and supported advertising formats in the country. The standards give the advertisers the oportunity to create creative concepts according to the specifications which are accepted by the main on-line publishers.
The documents deal with the basic display, pop-up, video and text advertisements, defines its names, maximum data capacity, labelling standards etc. and tries to make the process of creating visuals and media purchase more effective.
The new advertising standards 2009 have been signed by following companies so far:
